Elise Thorpe Shares M&A Expertise During Phoenix Business Journal Table of Experts Discussion
The novel coronavirus pandemic has impacted all aspects of the U.S. economy, including in the mergers and acquisition space. To get a clearer picture of those effects, Elise Thorpe, a principal with Lovitt & Touché, recently offered her M&A expertise with the Phoenix Business Journal as part of a Table of Experts discussion.
The impacts of the coronavirus have been mixed in the M&A space, Elise explained during the roundtable. Deals in the works prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic have generally continued moving forward — albeit at a far slower speed. On the other hand, Elise noted that many other businesses are sitting on the sidelines, instead taking a wait-and-see approach to reevaluate their situations in another six months or more.
At Lovitt & Touché, Elise and others work with businesses to identify and mitigate risks of any potential mergers and acquisitions, taking a 360-degree look at operations, finances and the business climate to determine the best path forward. Learn more about our M&A solutions.
