Andrea Rios is an Employee Health and Benefits Advisor with Lovitt & Touché, a Marsh McLennan Agency. Including her experience prior to joining MMA, she has been advising clients on employee benefits, total rewards, and HR strategies since 2014. Andrea is well-versed in all areas of employee benefits and serves as a collaborative, trusted partner to her clients. She helps to optimize and effectively manage health plans, focusing on cost containment and the member experience. She provides expert advice and guidance to clients across all industries on program design, funding feasibility, well-being strategies, M&A due diligence, technology, plan administration, pharmacy benefit analysis and more. Andrea has a deep understanding of the latest industry trends and compliance regulations and is committed to developing a total rewards/benefits strategy that aligns with each of her clients’ unique objectives and culture.  

Prior to joining MMA, Andrea was an HR and Benefits Advisor, partnering with clients on their benefits, HR, compliance, payroll management and technology needs. She also worked with employers on their recruitment and retention initiatives and employer branding efforts. 

Andrea graduated from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. She is active in the professional community as well. As a member of the Society of Human Resource Management of Greater Phoenix, she is a Co-Chair of the Membership Committee for the past 3 years and serves on the Board of Directors for Arizona Total Rewards Association. Additionally, Andrea serves on the board for Women in Healthcare’s Phoenix Chapter, an organization dedicated to promoting the professional development of women in the healthcare industry.

Andrea is passionate about giving back to her community and supporting local nonprofits. For more than 4 years, she has served on Homeward Bound’s leadership council, a nonprofit providing transitional housing and social service programs for homeless or abused women, children and families. She previously served on the Local First Arizona’s Board of Director, committing to community and economic development throughout Arizona, and was an Associate Board Member for Playworks of Arizona, serving primarily low-income schools through year-round, on-site support services.

Andrea is a proud Arizona native, originally from Tucson. When not in the office, she enjoys traveling, seeking outdoor adventures, and spending time with her husband and two young boys.
