Brian specializes in business insurance and surety, pulling from his United States Air Force service and business acumen to produce customized solutions that range from captive and loss sensitive plans to traditional placements. Prior to joining Lovitt & Touché in 2011, Brian served for 12 years as an active duty F-16 pilot, leading combat missions and becoming a decorated flight instructor. He continued to serve in the Air Force Reserve until his recent retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20+ years of service. Whether in the surety or commercial insurance markets, Brian’s focus is on client advocacy and collaboration to maximize client profitability.

His community involvement includes serving as an active member of the Scottsdale Charros, life member of the Fiesta Bowl Committee and a founding member of Suns Charities 88. In addition, he serves on the Board of Governors of the  Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. Previously, he served as a board member of the Joe Foss Institute and Civics Proficiency Institute, playing an integral part of improving civics education in Arizona and across the United States. Brian also supports the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association. In 2015, Brian was named to the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 under 40 for his impact in the valley both in business and in the greater community.

In addition to community service, Brian is active in the Construction Management Financial Association, Arizona Builders’ Alliance, American Subcontractors Association, Associated General Contractors of America and the Surety Association of Arizona. Brian graduated from the University of Arizona, holds an MBA from Touro University Worldwide, and has the designation of Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS).

As a native Arizonan, Brian has strong state ties and is proud to raise his family in Phoenix. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
