With more than 25 years of experience in health and welfare, Elise Thorpe serves as a Vice President at Lovitt & Touché. She has a passion for partnering with CEOs, CFOs and HR professionals to develop a strategic benefits package that helps retain and attract key talent, aligns with the company’s culture and controls costs. Elise also actively promotes corporate wellbeing programs, providing resources and solutions regarding the physical, financial, emotional and other dimensions of employee wellness.
Elise joined Lovitt & Touché in 2007 as a Relationship Manager. She has worked with companies in various industries with 50 to 4,000 employees and a full spectrum of funding arrangements.
Elise is a reputable thought leader in the industry, speaking on the impact of healthcare reform, corporate wellbeing initiatives and employee benefits program trends at various local and national groups, including the Phoenix CEO-CFO Group, Arizona State Society of Human Resource Management, State Bar Conference, Employee Benefit News Conference, and the Western Pension & Benefits Conference.
Due to her personal and professional passion for wellness, Elise has led an HR Wellness Roundtable since 2011, exposing employers in the Valley to various wellness vendors, new wellness concepts and resources to create a culture of health for their organization. She also co-leads an HR Leadership Forum that provides senior HR professionals an opportunity to discuss situational opportunities, best practices and other HR trends with their peers.
Elise is involved in the community in a variety of capacities, serving on the Board of Directors and as Vice President of Ambassadors for the Association for Corporate Growth. She also chairs the organization’s Women in Business Leadership event. Additionally, Elise serves on the Board of Directors for the Construction Finance Management Association, lending her skills to the Executive of the Year Committee and co-chairing the Women of CFMA. She is also involved in the Central Phoenix Women’s Organization, among others.
Elise earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and sociology from the University of New Mexico, and she received an MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona. She lives in Chandler with her husband Cliff and their three dogs. Her two sons, Dalton and Connor, study engineering at the University of Arizona.
