With deep experience in in transactional law, employment and labor law, corporate risk reduction and litigation management, Magdalena Osborn serves as Vice President and General Counsel for Lovitt & Touché.
Prior to joining the firm, she was a civil defense litigator. Throughout her career, Magdalena has been a strong advocate for employers, management and companies by providing training, risk management assistance, internal investigations, early mediation and litigation defense.
Magdalena currently sits on the Executive Committee of the Employment and Labor Law Section of the Arizona State Bar, and formerly chaired its CLE Committee. She is a graduate of the Arizona State Bar Leadership Institute, has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, and is named as one of Arizona’s top women executives by Who’s Who In Business. She is also a member of the Arizona Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Maricopa Bar Association and the Tucson Defense Bar (past president).
Magdalena is an Arizona State Bar certified continuing legal education presenter. Throughout her career, she has spoken on numerous employment and labor law, HR, health care, state and federal compliance topics, including seminars with American Health Lawyers Association, Assisted Living Federation of America, Lorman Education Services, National Business Institute and Sterling Education Services.
Magdalena is a steering committee member of Women United of United Way and provides pro bono legal services to Wills for Heroes, giving Arizona’s first responders free estate planning, and supports and serves meals at St. Vincent de Paul.
Magdalena earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Colorado, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law.
